Sparsely Kate has inspired me.
I’m not usually a competitive girl – but she reckons she’s written a boring post [like she could!? that girl could never write something boring].
So I thought I’d try and beat her in the boring post stakes..
Since moving to this little town I have realised there is no-one who can make a good coffee within a hundred km radius.
No-one.
I had been grooming a potential young barista – but she was shit really. It was going to take months.
Anyways.
Three weeks ago I bought a coffee machine..
and it was coffee.. coffee.. coffee.. coffee.. for three weeks..
Then
My big sister bought me the most fantastic teapot (ironically so fricking expensive it was only $30 cheaper than the coffee machine..)
and now.. I can’t stop making pots of tea..
Thinking about donating the coffee machine to charity.
I LOVE my teapot.

How’s that for a lack of stimulation..?
Hmmm??

Gee I would keep both! Hehe
Who knows when you will next crave a decent caffeine hit?
And those Breville machines are pretty good huh! We’ve got one at work that was only $400 or so and it churns out some top notch lattes.
SEE – not that boring! Must be a week for lazy blogging though huh cos I just wrote a MEME of all things!! Haha

Yum I will bring some nice tea for you next time I am over that way. I love tea! I love all sorts of teas too, so we are bound to find some middle ground. Whenever I go to the city I have a tea buy up – I’ve been known to spend a fortune in those fancy tea shops!

i found that to be a gripping post.
i love me some coffee
and i have a hankering to own a tea pot.
i’ve not bought one yet, because it has to be the perfect tea pot.
not fancy, just aesthetically pleasing to my eye.
why can’t you live NEAR?
then we could have the rockingest tea parties.
i make lovely cakes.

Drama. Humor. The stories climax. And Suspense.
Quite a captivating story overall.

Esz.. this one was on half price sale for $120.. so not a fancy one by any stretch.. but.. it’s brilliant! (just made myself a fair-trade skinny capp with organic choc sprinkley things on top..)
Lill.. I am fantasizing about something other than the English breakfast that I have at the moment.. maybe I can bring the pot and you can bring the tea and we’ll meet half-way?
P! This little pot is made by Avanti – expensive (small pot, just right for two people retails at $100) but makes a lovely cup. It’s a bit contemporary in it’s aesthetic.. which isn’t really my thing.. but.. it is highly recommended.
TSM.. I’ll send you the post I wrote where I compare electric blankets..
S. Oh. Umm. When I said I was thinking of giving it away.. I didn’t MEAN it.. I just wrote that to emphasize how much I was enjoying tea right now. So you can’t have it. Cos I didn’t MEAN it. OK?

The meet half way thing just is hard to work out though isn’t it, the town named after the duck is just a bit too…ummm,…well…nothing there really is there? I’ve been told the roadhouse there serves nice chips…

I just found this post with my name in it – happy claps.
Hey – I think it’s fabulous you have a teapot and a coffee machine…I asked my Mum for a teapot for Christmas with visions of me throwing tea parties for friends and having a huge pot sitting on the middle of the table like my Nan did…and my Ma went out and bought me one of those tiny trendy – made for 2 cups ONLY teapots.. you couldn’t even put a tea cosy on it.
I’m thinking I need to shop around and buy myself a good sized teapot. I don’t care if I am the only one who’ll use it.
How’s that for a boring comment?!?

Miss Owner of This Blog: You should only say shit you MEAN. Nah. Just joking. But NOT. I wanted that damn coffee machine.
